I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but if not I respectfully disagree. It is a decent looking small apartment block. many older neighbourhoods have them scattered here and there, and personally i don't see them as a problem. At least this one looks like a house and not a brick cube. Just my opinion, of course.

I'll go with just another NIMBY. 3 stories is pretty mild density, I think it's a fairly attractive design.

It's a nice design and not even that much bigger than the home it is replacing. Not to mention far more attractive. Hopefully it makes it through!

Has there been any updates yet on the city expropriating Money Mart to finish the AT connection at Confusion Corner? You'd think they'd want to hit the ground running come spring, so it's a little odd (worrisome) to me that the expropriation hasn't already happened, and MM hasn't relocated.

Hoping that MM moves to Osborne Pl. I have a pre-paid card and sometimes need to visit them.

Ya it just says which pieces of land they're taking. Which is all of the Money mart lands, the piece of land with the old driveway approach on it, and a small sliver of Archangle which is basically already on the street.

Looks from that like they're planning to build on the Osborne Village Inn site *and* add buildings in the parking lots behind the OVI and behind Stellas?



Fingers crossed for this! This would be really good news for the Village. Although if I remember right this was also more or less the plan proposed by the last owners (condos in those two parking lots) and we can see how far they got with it

6 stories ~100 residential units plus a few commercial units on Osborne, and then a 4 story ~65 residential unit on each of the parking lots... What a huge boost to the area that would be
