The whole Carbon Tax scheme is just a sham to take more of our money. The PITE only reduces our taxable income by a portion. If they're serious about the environment, they should do a lot more to encourage public transit so that people actually prefer to use it. Perhaps fund real rapid transit (LRT instead of BRT) and bring back street cars in Winnipeg. They should take advantage of our hydro electric (renewable) power to run our transit system instead of relying on fossil fuels.

The public transit tax credit was not actually encouraging anyone, and it costs money to implement. Much better to spend that money actually making transit better.

Can't recall if 139 Tuxedo has been mentioned here before. Just caught a glimpse of it while flying in, but it seems progress has been made.

I have no idea how the city didn't jump and say "what the fuck is that?" As much as I like it when they don't overextend their grasp into private matters... we needed them here.

I really don't see the problem with this development. It's a good sized multifamily development that is sold out. I'm indifferent with how it looks, I'm just happy these multifamily developments are still humming along in this city.

Do you mean across from McDonald's further south down the street? If so it's apartments. I'd thought it was going to be 24 stories at one time now I think it's less than 10.

so is this what we expect to be built there.. i guess it add little more desnity in the area.. plus has decent height to it.. will have quite a bit of presence in that area
