I am not clear on how FSR's are calculated, but how can three much shorter towers on a fairly similar lot really be that much more dense than three towers that are almost double the height? I guess the math does add up, but this is hard to comprehend.

I wouldn't worry about losing east, south or west views from the upper floors in our lifetime. However, the Whitespot lot may pose an unpleasant surprise to those purchasing a north view. No plans have been posted, but there you have a risk.
Also the two 45-floor towers going up to the north of this will already be partly in the way, as they are on higher ground. But even then, views from this tower will be epic and last very, very long.
