Seconded for Jericho. Blanca's an iffier choice; it might be better transit-wise, but it isn't as commercially active or redevelop-able as the Safeway block. TransLink can always move the bus loop.

The naming convention seems to be "landmark plus street" (Oakridge-41st, VCC-Clark, etc) so they'll likely call it "VGH-Oak" or "VGH-Broadway" or something.

in and out of Vancouver. With bus connections to Arbutus would be fine for a decade or more to come, but it seems ultimately there'll be a call for rrt all the way.
Additionally, past Blanca, I don't think having it elevated on those ugly skyways is necessarily the the best thing, as they are unsightly and "gâche" the view. Isn't surface level acceptable?

Don't see the problem with the guideways, they makes the place look urban, just like the soon-to-be-former viaducts. Regardless, SkyTrain to UBC appears to be a question of "when," not "if."

The golfers can — it up; SkyTrain, chirping birds, people breathing too loudly, they've got nobody to blame for their — downswing and subsequent double bogey but themselves.
If they want to preserve the median, TransLink
could close off the northbound or southbound side and run it down there - traffic's pretty light even at rush hour.
