Yea, concrete tends to look pretty dreary in wet weather. Particularly when the concrete of the buildings gets wet and turns into that cardboard brown colour.
When I think of wet concrete I think of Vancouver City Hall. Concrete aged when wet resembles stone and on certain structures the effect is nice. Brutalist buildings look better wet imo. There is a dirty skyscraper joke in that comment somewhere I bet.

Montreal (aka Concrete-ville) actually looks quite dreary in rainy weather in general. I find glass and red brick to look best in rain, but yeah concrete looks really sad.
Anything shiny looks decent in the rain IMO. Concrete look terrible, always looks dark and ominous...
^It's pretty fun seeing how dwarfed the old Coast is these days.

^I feel like some ancient monster is going to come out of the depths and gouge me or that I'm going to fall into a pit of spikes somewhere, or the walls are going to start shifting around and squish me into a bloody, lifeless pulp.
