Anyone dress up as Ezra Levant (or John Baird) for Halloween? I did see a few scary Trump masks while out trick-or-treating with my kids tonight.

Perhaps one day when I have a kid I can dress them as Clockzilla when they’re too young to care.

Nothing like that came to our house this year. Best costume in the 'ugly' vein was one my son did when he was about 11 when he dressed up like the Sham Wow/Slap Chop guy

Those types of buildings are so common though that it's tough to really pick on them for being ugly. They're a product of their times.

I understand that, but I would point out that their times also produced interesting, quality architecture. In fact no need to look very far for an example: the brutalist pre-municipal-mergers Levis City Hall just across the street is from the same general era, and though some people might also find it ugly, objectively, these two buildings are night and day for architectural interest and value. One is completely tasteless and has bad proportions while also being hopelessly bland, the other is a good example of a documented architectural trend that was the product of its time.

He also doubled down on his promise to take the federal government to court over its carbon tax if he becomes premier in 2019.
