I know. I've taken both. My point is that for whatever benefits the automated car or just a car in general has, the train can improve on them. No reason we can't have Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal high speed car shuttle.
Also 160kph is substantially faster than what VIA gets on most of its journey today.
