^ Considering the new supply that keeps pouring into the Edmonton market, these are decent numbers in the midst of a long recession.....

Crews were working on the Westblock site this week. A couple of loads of heavy timber were delivered.

I am impressed that the developer is proceeding with such a remarkable development in this area. It will be quite impressive.

and that's without the new hyatt or mariott.. of course those would be citywide numbers, so understandable with O&G hotel use plummeting in recent years.

Curious as to what was going on in May though? It's not only the busiest month by a long shot, but a good bit busier than the prior year..

Here's one in St Albert that is taking forever. Originally was a Lions Senior facility now it has a new owner and new life. The foundation took about a year to get to this point. Being on a flood plane and all. I know when we did an addition at the mall a short distance away, the pilings went down 75' and it was pure mud that deep. What I do find interesting is the use of the insulated forms for the foundation.

Just a few years back I got myself a hard tail mountain bike to try out the trails I've been hearing so much about in this city. I haven't ridden a bike since I was a kid, and could say was one of the best choices I've ever done. This city truly is amazing for trails.
