Would an office tower ever be built on top of Burrard Station? Seems like it would be a good location and give Translink an opportunity to renovate the station.

That construction on Main has to be up there with the slowest projects in the city.

Thanks for the update. The top looks a lot heavier than I expected. None the less, considering that there was just an old low-rise restaurant on the site, and a gas station at one time, if I remember correctly, so it's an amazing improvement to the urbanity of the corner.

Edit: just noticed the black vertical fins. I think that those will make quite a positive difference to the top, which just looks flat and lifeless in contrast to the far more varied white levels below.

I like it. Black and white seems to be the colour for the Cambie corridor.

Thanks!

I like the fins on the top part - presumably they'll extend to the top floor, too.

Not sure about the wide blocky white protrusions on the lowers levels.

I saw this the other day coming in from the airport, I thought the white blocky fins at the bottom looked great in person.

This one has definitely surprised in a good way.

About time this block sees something. It's such a rundown stretch of Granville and one of a visitors first views of Vancouver. Really needs some love.

Until they have funding to build permanent rooms, but with a temporary unit then you would think they would develop on unused sites first and then swap this one around once they build additional modular housing units.
