Here are some more angles of The Spot on Cambie, with the restored heritage house that was part of the project.
One thing that I think is odd is that this project is allowed to use the same name as
The Spot @ 933 Seymour Street, completed in 1998. It reminds me of how we have two different Shaw towers downtown. The
Shaw tower at Cathedral Place (across Georgia from the Hotel Vancouver, with the mansard roof that mimics Hotel Vancouver) and the newer and bigger
Shaw tower near the convention centre.
