In the Halifax area Tim's is slightly more popular/common in both the core and suburbs. Starbucks has grown by orders of magnitude here in the last 10 years or so, though. I can remember when there were only 2 Starbucks in HRM; now there are probably a couple dozen.

Feeling some deja vu here...

Also that is Central Lonsdale. Upper is closer to the highway and doesn't have many tall buildings.

Random note but I prefer Vancouver's traffic light standard to Toronto's. It dosent have the ugly median poles.

Both cities have the ugly big traffic light backplates and blue street signs though.

North vancouvers signs are blue but Vancouvers are usually green.
