If it's 420, they could sell the rooftops to a weed company or something, when it's legal here in a few years, and make a ton of money.

They should build a 420 meter tower. That would be sick.

Naw, its a solid place. And you can have a beer with your burger. Love In N Out but never in a million years would they go there. My other fave Hamburger Habit used to sell beer up in VC, not sure if they still do, the taps were there last time I was up there, but that was for lunch when I don't usually indulge, but come evening, nothing better than a Habit burger and a brew. Hope Shake Shack offers the same.

You mean 85° Bakery? Yeah, that place is constantly packed every time I go there (Old Town Pasadena). As a gluten addict, that place is cloud nine for me.

We shouldn't worry about "Oceanwide Plaza", I got the information, that everything is fine and that they are already looking for more people.. like Financial & Construction Manager, some driver and so on.

I don't want to give you guys any names, like I did in 2015 with Mr Eichler. We also know, that the project did change again (after that information), so you never know, but we should stay calm.

PS:

I didn't heare anything about a missing permit.

But the cycle is over! /s

That's good to hear. Oceanwide has been a bit worrying lately, but it is no worse then Metropolis. And now that is growing insanely fast.

I think with the Rams coming back, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see a few hotel proposals come to fruition sometime soon.

This would make a lot of sense. It is apparent that the Rams owner is planning on developing a stadium site which will be a sports/entertainment destination for all of southern California. One which will directly compete with the "LA Live/convention center complex. Given AEG's current in vestment and plans for the area to maintain and gain market share I would not be surprised that they put their muscle behind the expediting of projects now in the planning stages, including their planned hotel annex. They won a lot of land in the area and the portion north of LA Live and Metroplis certainly needs help. Too many shabby (and inappropriately) used buildings, narrow or offset streets (e.g. Francisco), parking structures, and deadening surface lots (things that the CRA could have helped--no thanks to Governor Brown) have killed the idea of "Angels Walk." A better and more realistic plan needs to be drawn up.

Pure speculation but here goes based on a quick analysis-

-Wilshire corridor across from Lafayette Park
-650 units
-Same architect as Circa or 1200 Fig, a partnership involving Jamison Services and Hankey Investments.

I'd say it's possibly the big project we discussed recently from this post-

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showpost.php?p=7295798&postcount=6754

Thoughts?

^ The only thing we know for sure at this point is that they filed for a revised foundation permit. The means changes to the structural plans for the foundation. Doesn't necessarily mean there's a change to the design itself.
