If the Calgary to Beijing route was active, would Calgary pick up traffic from other cities like Red Deer, Edmonton, Regina, etc... as well as other cities in China at the other end? And if so, those numbers would not change the O&D stats between the two cities but they might affect the amount of passengers for the flights correct?

Hence why HU needs to time its flight properly and codeshare with an airline at YYC that provides onward feed, namely WS.
