Nice angle for that Toronto photo, however, it is slightly overdone.
Look at all those 1 storey buildings on Yonge Street (soon to be razed and constructed as highrise) - A legacy of cut and cover subway construction, laid bare for the eyes to see!
Hope that helps Toronto get some canyons worthy of its skyline.
Those Vancouver shots are strong evidence of the fact that people who complain that 'Vancouver all looks the same' derive this opinion by looking at it from only one angle

I don't think that's a train shed; looks like it's just the main rail corridor for VIA and GO trains going to Union from the west.Not too sure why those beams are above that section though.

Thats why I thought it was a train shed. I figured it was on the UPX line but couldn't place it cause its clearly not Bloor station and I didn't think there was anything between there and Union but at-grade trackage. I guess they extended it so they could build over the tracks in that area.
