Gilmore/Brentwood Town Centre skyline as seen from Rupert Skytrain Station in Vancouver.

In this one I also caught something up in the sky. Notice the floating crane just to the right of centre.

The Montreal skyline is a mess. Hydro poles, grain silos, heavy cranes, bridges, neon signs, mismatched towers from all eras...love it.

The Griffintown condos also really help in adding a sense of depth to the skyline. They make the downtown skyscrapers look taller, and more in their element.

In that respect, Montreal is a little like Manhattan, where the skyline is also not very "harmonious" and uniformly "modern". And then, of course, there's Mount Royal as a backdrop that adds to the variety of the cityscapes.

I'd say it's a lot more harmonious than Manhattan. There's a clear build up to a focal point, and few towers fighting to be the centre of attention.

Also benefits from a better colour base than Manhattans greyish-brown.

I agree, Montreal skyline may not be the most dramatic in the country but it is the most interesting.

Nice angle for that Toronto photo, however, it is slightly overdone.

Look at all those 1 storey buildings on Yonge Street (soon to be razed and constructed as highrise) - A legacy of cut and cover subway construction, laid bare for the eyes to see!
