I had spoken to them on the phone numerous times and this was never mentioned.
The City Inspection which was due to take place this past Monday the 21st was not completed and I've been told it will "hopefully" be done by Friday. They can not issue move-in dates until the inspection is passed.

Agree on all counts - these guys are a bunch of amateurs running a clown show. I was given a walkthrough date for mid-August for my unit, only for it to be cancelled well under a week before with that BS excuse about an elevator. Yet it is still not ready - so how the hell they thought the walkthrough in August was possible until the "unforeseen delay completely out of their control" occurred a few days before is garbage.
I am hoping that the interiors are as good as the fortunate (?) few who have been able to see them say they are, but the way this project has been run, with the constant errors in timing and outright lies about progress is, so unprofessional.
I will be happy once this is all done, but I will never invest my hard-earned money with these jokers again. They don't seem to have a clue that lies catch up and good communication builds relationships, and especially in this economy, many of the buyers into this building are the exact same people who they should want as customers for future projects.
Anybody remember
"Late summer is the perfect time to get to know your new neighbourhood. It is a great time to stroll down 17th Avenue or have a patio dinner in one of the many restaurants of your new neighbourhood. Also, in our humble opinion, late summer is when Haultain Park and Central Memorial Park are at their most beautiful."
That's how the delay was first covered up, as late summer is the
perfect time to move in. Well what now - it's looking like late fall to winter - arguably the
worst time to move into our new neighbourhood?
