In what world is it not a skyline? It's a collection of tall buildings, one of which is over 500 ft not counting Skylon Tower. The Hilton would be 3rd tallest highrise in Vancouver.

People like to discount that NF has a skyline because it doesn't fit their definition of a 'proper' city.

I was out there last month and it almost looked like autumn with how many trees were already losing their leaves from lack of water.

Yeah, it is bone dry. I was hiking this past weekend and every in the forests is so dry that it is easy to imagine how those forest fires spark.

There is now a very good chance of several days of rain starting this weekend (of course just when I have some guest over). Let's hope that will the case as we need a solid week of rain to start things returning to normal.

The real rain season is still a month out.

Just got off the phone with my parents and they were saying it's so bad that the trees are just drying up and leaves are falling off. I saw my first red leaves of fall Saturday near Elora On and my dad thinks they won't have any leaves left on the trees for fall in Sechelt.

It's a strong skyline, but a weak cityscape.

Towers are an aftertought to the natural setting in the photo. There no depth to it. I repeat, it's a dozen towers with questionable architecture spread out along the river. Country has many skylines/secondary skylines that are so much better. Nothing there to be admired.

Niagara definitely has some tacky buildings, but the silhouette of the skyline looks pretty good IMO.

I'm not a huge fan of the tacky/artificial/cheap skyline of Niagara Falls, though it certainly isn't the worst we have in Canada.

That said, if we were to resolve that Niagara Falls skyline does not count, I would further resolve that Las Vegas and Atlantic City also do not have skylines.
