You can really see the build up starting to happen in and around the Olympic Village, and up to Main and Broadway in that second pic. Kingsway will be a pretty visible corridor from the air in the next few years.

The Beltline really is developing a great skyline in it's own right.

Vancouver looks so much denser but I think part of that is because you don't have tall or large building in Vancouver. In Calgary you have many which makes a lot of the condo/apt buildings in the Beltline look relatively shorter.

I don't think anyone is questioning that Vancouver is more dense than Calgary. Calgary has some taller buildings. Both are obvious truths.

Nice Vancouver aerials, but wow do they ever need some rain. Those parks are pure brown.

I was out there last month and it almost looked like autumn with how many trees were already losing their leaves from lack of water.
