This is the type of attitude I'm talking about. You say Regina is "an amazing city" like this is a) indisputably true and b) means that no criticism is therefore allowed.
Due to world economic conditions Regina boomed for the last 6 years or so. As such there was a ton of development that occurred. Much of it was good, but to pretend that all development is good is absurd and you know it.
Regina gained some downtown towers, but that doesn't mean that we have to pretend that a couple of glass curtain-wall systems are the height of architectural achievement. Likewise, Regina gained a much of new residential subdivisions but these are far from perfect and deserve much criticism.
The next years are going to see Regina slow down dramatically. This is evident by the majority of new projects being government: stadium, waste water treatment plant, P3 schools, bypass,
