I think it's important to remember that CMHC
will finance that much, not that they
are going to. The non-residential portion itself will be very expensive and with current market conditions unlikely to find funding. Plus, let's remember CMHC is more-or-less the federal government, as I said.

I think you are really overstating Namerind's ability to finance a project of this scale. Their portfolio isn't particularly large or valuable.
I predict a long-term parking lot, which they've already hinted at doing.
