The most sensible way is to go one block north of Academy to Wellington Cres. and then go under the Maryland Bridge to the east side and ride the bike lane across to Sherbrook.

That's not really simple or effective for commuting. Sure, maybe the safest, but it's so out of the way most people wouldn't use it. In order for bike routes to be effective, they need to be on already existing popular routes. Like sure it's great there's a bike route all the way down Warsaw, but Corydon is where most people want to be, and want to travel/commute. I would guess the majority of ppl using Warsaw are probably out more for leisure.

If I'm taking my bike to go somewhere on Corydon, I'm going to bike down Corydon.

It's not really out of the way. It's probably even quicker because you can avoid that inevitable lengthy wait at the red light at Stafford and Academy while cars turn left after coming off the bridge.
If I'm going somewhere on Corydon, I take Grosvenor or Fleet until I've reached the cross-street I want and then take that up to Corydon. Cyclists just need safe, connected options, not a designated lane on every thoroughfare.

Im not a cyclist but the GF is. Personally, the AT paths make more sense than the on-street cycling lane. They are safer.

As a driver the biggest issue with cyclists is how many of them want to be treated as equal with cars but dont obey the laws. I know, I know...many do. But far too many dont.

As someone who does both I completely agree. Given the difference in speed and size from a car to a bike separation only makes sense. Cyclists are much safer with not having to dodge crappy drivers and cars don't have to wait behind someone doing less than half the speed limit. Everybody wins

Looks like that to me too.

Any rumours as to what might be happening with this building? Could be a great northern anchor to the WF revitilization. It seems inactive, although it's still being heated, when walking by I see evidence of flying rats going in an out of upper floor windows.

next time when I'm there I'll go l Ok for where their getting in and send the landlord a note

Not sure if something is going on with the old Masonic Temple building on Donald. The past few days going home from work I noticed an air compressor next to the open Ellice side door and hoses going in.

I don't know if its work for a new tenant or just work being done to preserve the building until one (or more) are found.

It's been a while since I saw them, but I seem to remember that it was on one of the upper 3 floors on the north (tracks) side of the building.
