I think that demographic conversations have their place on this page, especially during lulls in news like we have now. But some of the crap being foisted out in the last few pages is, to quote Woody Allen, the zenith of mongoloid reasoning. The arguments are lazy, sophomoric and boring. Utahn's all look the same? Mormons talk funny? Are you thirteen years old?
Look, we have a rapidly changing makeup in this state. Our Hispanic population increases by almost 8% per year. There are now more Hispanic people (+/- 400k) in Utah than the entire population of Davis county. Twice as large as the population of Salt Lake City. If you break it down further, via
the trib, West Valley City is 45 percent minority (33 percent Latino); South Salt Lake is 42.1 percent (29 percent Latino); Kearns is 40.4 percent (33 percent Latino); and Ogden is 35.3 percent (30 percent Latino).
So I'll leave you lousy punks with a picture of a bunch more Utahns who look the same that I was hanging with earlier. My friend took this. I think it's a pretty cool picture of some of our towers too.
