That land is already super valuable and they are planning on overhauling the whole thing. Seriously, I would be amazed if the Stampede ever left their grounds, they are well served by transit, right beside 17th Ave, road connections aren't terrible, and they've been in the same spot for over 100 years now. The area immediately adjacent to the Stampede will build out, and hopefully the Stampede sees an opportunity to add services for the people in that area other than parking. Don't forget that the Stampede gets over 1.2 million admissions every year, they easily generate enough revenue to get by on just the 10 days a year.
