yeah i think the NYC style subway entrances would be the best. there is basically no need for property acquisition. there would be one at each corner. the ticketing would all be under ground. and as seen with NYC you can still have elevators. also, since Broadway is so dense it would add a bit of character to the streets with those entrances on all 4 corners.
