That is how the U of S pass works. I can't speak for everyone, but I use it all the time outside of travelling to the university and back. It's great to have as a cab alternative on the weekends if you plan well enough, for at least half of the night without leaving my car downtown, on 20th, or Broadway. My particular bus route is actually TOO packed on weekdays from 8am to Noon, and that is with service every 15 minutes. That gives you an idea of how successful it is.

It's really too bad about the misinformation being put out there. Is the URSU always that terrible?

Are you sure about that. I was told that all four tower cranes at the stadium site will be in place until early spring 2016.

Kinda. Seems to be a general U of R problem though.

I just found out that the cranes will most like be dismantled towards the end of '15. (Oh well.)

The good news is that they must expect to have the roof on by then. We won't have cranes to look at but the roof will be even better.

I'm for having no cranes if it means the stadium is on schedule.

Would be nice to see a couple of residential cranes in the core. Any chance that the Lorne Street proposal would be demoing/digging by the end of the year?

As we have seen with CP and River Landing and perhaps with City Centre, mixed used projects are complex and difficult to finance. Expect delays.

What is the Lorne street proposal , capital pointe they keep saying is a go there is to be yet another announcement. Very soon again , they say why would they put all the monies into this project if it's not going to happen , must a tower crane be booked in advance ? There's one more project in the works for the core

Interesting. They sure have a long ways to go on the west side & the north side in 10 months as they are still at grade.

Anyone know how large the other Superstores in Regina are? Just curious for a comparison.

Edit: Just used a map measurement tool to get an approximation... Somewhere between 135,000 and 140,000 sq. ft. if anyone else is curious.

That's somewhat surprising. As long as the bowling alley, cinemas and pool hall are there I'm supportive.

Hopefully they are going to work with the city on the transit exchange point. It's the major transfer spot in the South.

142,000 Square feet, so this will be much smaller.
