Besides Fuddruckers it's the biggest thing I'm jealous of Saskatoon for.

I will say that McDonalds has come a long way with their coffee menu. For convenient, chain coffee, they have everything I need. Whereas previously I would never go there nor to Tim's.

Also, I believe Robin's Donuts have drive-thrus at multiple locations, including south Albert. Though I'm personally not a fan of this brand.

I think the entire country is probably jealous of Saskatoon as I believe that is the only remaining Canadian location.

Mehh was never really a fan of fuddruckers, if i wanted to have drinks with my food i would go to Houston's or BPs. I'm liking me some five guys tho, now those are burgers!!!

That's the Lorne and 11th proposal for low income housing. Base is grocery, then a couple floors of commercial, then the residential on the top 10 floors or so.

Just the office component is to be 100K sq ft. Most of it is to be residential.

That's a fair bit is office space being added to the core , one could shop and work at the same place , not a bad idea on those cold winter days

I've been reading some updates on twitter... They are also looking into the rest of the council because they are very surprised that they still supported and stood behind Eberle after they were given the report.

Some of the key points I see in the report:

• The RM banked on the fact that Kal Tire was going to open a large warehouse on their land, and when Kal Tire backed out of the deal the RM quickly put together this development idea to spur financial development.
• Eberle & the developer refused to produce non-redacted documents showing the details of their deal to the investigator. It took weeks and weeks to finally break down their barriers and discover what money exchanged hands in this deal.
• The RM of Sherwood and Eberle both use the same lawyer. Although it isn't illegal, it's very sketchy and looks really bad for all parties.
• High employee turnover at the RM offices, with the clear reason people were being fired was their opposition to the Wascana Village devlopment. This caused RM council members to be influenced to vote a certain way on this development for fear of losing their jobs.
• Eberle sold a quarter section of his land to Marathon Developments for $25,000 per acre ($4,000,000 total) in 2012. Once the Wascana Developments plan was approved in 2013, he then provided a valuation of his land to Great Prairie Developments of $43,000 per acre.

Jist of it is he railroaded this plan through without any due diligence and using his power as Reeve to ensure it succeeded.
