Here on SSP, you are what you post. Your narcissism and inferiority complex come through very loudly. This coupled with your passive-aggressive and barely-concealed jealousy masquerading as braggadocio makes you an easy and I believe, deserving target for parody.

Yeah... I almost forgot about how mild winter 2010 was... they had to move in snow from higher elevations Vancouver had a mean Feb temperature of +8 that year at lower elevations... remember watching the slushy moguls while hanging out on the backyard patio - got a sunburn on one of those days...Victoria was in double digits most of February, with many mid-teens - neither ever dipping below zero.

Cherry blossoms are out on some trees here already... not typical until February. The city of Victoria was mowing boulevards last week...

Currently 8 and calm in Victoria this am with fog near the water .... forecast calls for a high of 11 with a mix of sun and cloud.

Hot spot in BC yesterday was Metro Van/Lower Mainland with 14-16.

Exactly. Post what the temperature is right now at your current location, so I can immediately look at EC website to see if it is true.

Long range forecast... for what it's worth:

Looks like we'll continue to get more of this on the SW coast...:

so much for the forecast...can we get a 20 today? Dunno, sea Island (YVR) just went back down to 8 from 13 (fog).

I have 15 in Metrotown, but when I walked down into the valley earlier (BCIT area) it actually felt hot, almost like summer. BC's microclimates are weird. We haven't had any cloudy or foggy weather in Burnaby today whatsoever.

Checking BC, looks like Oct 19 on the coast (Vic/Van/Abbs) and Osoyoos. Likely Toronto was the last city...officially??

Looks like Lethbridge, Alberta was first to officially hit 20 in 2015.

+15ºC yesterday, +12ºC today in Maple Creek, SK..
thank gawd I have been lucky enough to go to other parts of the country this month to get some snow time in couple weekends ago I had a bitter cold but fun time at Blue Mtn in Collingwood, ON and now i'm finally heading to Whistler,BC to get some 'Spring' skiing in..
you seriously do have to make an effort to go to where the reliable winter snow conditions are in this country..

Certainly looks like the first 20... in January...in Canada! Gotta be a rare occurrence.

Sun finally broke through in Victoria... nice end to the day
