Montreal needs a 200m tower about where Place Bonaventure or the evo student residence (former Delta Hotel) is. It is the worst gap in the skyline. More height is needed east of McGill College Avenue, but the density is at least not too bad there. Despite that, I like this angle with the backdrop of Mount Royal.

Incredible shots! Calgary really has a fantastic skyline for a city its size. A lot of great buildings too. Love the mix of Bankers Hall, the Bow and the Suncor Energy Centre.

I can't help but hear the theme song to "Dallas" when I look at those photos

Never mine the skyline, look at that urban forest with the river going through it. Beautiful.

Winnipeg puts some larger cities to shame. It just needs one standout.

The new Riverwalk they just built is fantastic.

Nice photos; it's just not my cup of tea. I much prefer a walled and built up river front in a downtown core to the naturalized one you find in Calgary.

Here's a cool experience of Vancouver from Google Maps. It takes panorama to a whole new level. Worth playing around with to see some dramatic imagery from 2009:

Jeez, that second pic really shows the awful extent of surface lots in the northern section of the Calgary CBD. Thankfully, all but two of those lots have proposals or buildings already UC.

In a way I wish there was more surface parking lot in the downtown core here, so there would be more space for some mega developments. - Stuff has to come down first before anything can go up here, at least in the central core.
