Both would be a big move up for them, but if someone else is footing the bill why wouldn't they? It wouldn't dilute their brand.

They still have Omega and the Fox Towers site shown as surface parking. I wonder if they are in their parking stall numbers too?

Has anyone started a thread in the High Rise Construction section for any of the new office towers? KR, CoE tower and now Stantec? It's a good way to showcase exposure outside of our subthread.

^I believe they are all there. I frequent them more often than here. Many days I hate the whole local thing because I want to know what's going on of significance everywhere. Cold does a pretty good job of cross-posting to keep them reasonably up-to-date.

I'm out ATM, but someone told me both Journal and Sun had details on even more towers announced for the area. Is this true, or just part of the mega-plan and nothing confirmed.

Journal News Article, "East of the arena, on the high-profile corner of 101st Street and 104th Avenue, plans are still being developed for a “trophy” development."

Is it safe to guess maybe this means Enbrige tower?!

^ Doesn't sound right to me. Sounds a lot more like the tall proposed hotel tower.

The hotel will be south of the Arena, just north of the Stantec building I believe. I think this 'trophy' statement is in regards to the current casino land.

This would be one of the two residential towers east of the arena in this map. Across 104 from CoE tower.

Well considering that they've already taken the plunge and are partnering with Mark Chipman to open an ALT in Winnipeg's Sports, Hospitality and Entertainment District (SHED)...

Funny enough, Stantec will be a tenant in the mixed-use building.

I'd imagine that is just a generic place holder though, much like the Stantec location was just listed as residential prior to the July announcement. Maybe there could be yet another mixed use right on that spot.

That highrise being built in Winnipeg does not look nice, which I believe is why we haven't seen any construction updates in the Canada forum.
