So it will just beat out Telus Sky to spire-height by just over 1 meter, but not by roof height. That's cheating!!! j/k. So happy with this!

I'm reserving judgement on the design. Some of it I like. Some seems awkward, but the size is more than even my optimistic side was thinking at 218m.

This with the new City of Edmonton tower, Kelly Ramsey, and a few condos going up and this has been a freakish couple of months for the core in Edmonton.

I like how its slimmer on the top, it wont look like a big blocky building from the river / north after the other buildings get built.

Apparently 224 m is to the top of the building but not the top of the spire. They are still designing the cap, I bet it magically ends up being >14 m and beats the Bow (or maybe even Brooksfield tower).

Cost is ~$500 million.

62 stories, 747 feet tall (228m), 26 floors of office, 320 residential units.

The spire height could be the deciding factor on final height.

Notice the sign on the building in the middle of this image. Katz says that announcement to come. #yeg
