Never understood why people get dressed up and go there before the club when there are so many unique lounges and pubs in the area.
that is a bit harsh don't you think? I also worked at earls many moons ago and say what you will about the food, but it is the only restaurant at that price point where all the food is made from scratch. Comparing it to a frozen reheat establishment like Applebees is just being dramatic.

This is my definition of high(er) end, meaning they actually give a shit what goes on the plate.

Just to clarify.

22 Picardy Pl (not sure if this is U/C yet, or if this is the most current rendering, but it's listed on MLS)

I'm sure it helps that single business but it is damaging for the city and hurts other business in the area.

We need progressive taxation for parking lots so it is not possible for this type of thing to happen.

Land tax is what most conservatives ask for... It means that you aren't harshly taxed when you improve your property.

To clear up a few things: Earls is buying the northernmost lot on that strip, they are just finalizing purchase with the lawyers. The new location will be built on the location of the current parking lot, and then the old on will be torn down. Patio will be on the side of the building (not 100% sure which one yet) and there will NOT be a Joey going in there.

^^^ This will continue to worsen. Look for the province's debt servicing cost to increase.

I was curious about something micheal. Your a regular poster on all Sask. topics, probably 98% of your posts are thier. ( check posting history)

You tend to post anything you can possibly find that is negative only in the Manitoba section? Weird. Not that this is not important news and shouldn't be discussed.

Ohh.. this is not construction related, why not at least post it in Winnipeg Business or something related to the topic. Greatly appreciated.

There are some people who do this sort of thing... it's usually the extreme boosters of one place or another. I remember coldrsx waded into the Winnipeg Airport thread once to post some trivial stat which was little more than a flimsy pretext to post some wonderful news about Edmonton's airport.

Thanks for the tidbit micheal, we'll all be sure to book our moving vans and start our new lives in Moose Jaw right away.
