^Just an aesthetic thing to break up the facade and provide locations for balconies.

Cool aesthetic trend, but often at a thermal disadvantage for cantilevered anything is a bad bad idea in our climate.

Thanks, Coldrsx and Greenspace. As a non-architect I've always looked at these designs and thought, "Hmm, I'll bet these would offer superior sound-proofing between units than your traditional woodframe condo," but I guess not.

What a nice surprise coming back from holidays.. Our tenant satisfaction surveys show us leading our company in customer satisfaction nationwide by 10 points and leading our local competitors by 20 points!!

Retention is going to be the name of the game for the next several years so this makes me very very happy for my team

Which is actually called the Crawford Block. We are in the process of officially designating the building a municipal historic resource and then demolishing the single story portion built in the late 50's to put up a 5-storey residential apartment building. An exciting project, but one with some challenges.

He mentions that the Quarters hotel will be a Hyatt Place, and speculates that the new arena hotel will be a Starwood.
