There appears to be a bit of excavating going on to the east of Norquest college 's main building. Is this minor redevelop work or the start of the big build.

I think signature three looks great compared to the other two. Something different but still takes some design for the other 2 to still fit in.

Only issue I have is the blue. Change the color to the current red or something closer on the spectrum. Orange or a different shade or red would look better.

ambleside. The first two towers are nearing completion, the third taller (blue) tower is just beginning, they have dug out the pit and now building up.

Indeed. They are trying to get approx $45-55/sq.ft. for their zoning it appears. Not worth it as you had mentioned as a rezoning would be likely needed. A 2006 DC2 and flip is not a strategy that is working in 2014.

Ecotourism project bogged down in Strathcona County

EDMONTON - A businessman has plans to create a 360-hectare ecological resort 25 kilometres east of Edmonton but is being stymied by Strathcona County administrators.

The enterprising son of one of Alberta’s greatest entrepreneurs, Todd Oeming has spent seven years and $3.6 million on the project that was rejected by planning officials March 25 because Strathcona County lacks the policy framework to allow the development.

Son of the late Al Oeming, Todd Oeming has proposed building a resort called Wild Splendor on the same parcel of land off Highway 14 where his family operated the Alberta Game Farm and Polar Park from 1959 to 1998. His plans call for a $10-million equestrian show-jumping facility, 12-hole golf course, an artist’s colony, 120-unit motorcoach park, 27 km of riding trails, cabins with hitching posts, an amphitheatre constructed using infrastructure from the wildlife attraction’s former gorilla enclosure, and a Marriott hotel.
