Obviously Innsbruck would host them.
The two main things that I'm pointing out with this is that Denver knows what it takes to win the Olympic bid with helping Vancouver win them. Also with having Vancouver win the 2010 games, it shows that the IOC is willing to give the games back to a city that had passed on them. This will obviously help Denver.
With everything I have said, I believe Denver will be the US city representative that will go up against the other few cities across the world that will try to host the 2026 games.

And clearly you aren't listening to what others are saying. You seem to have an agenda against the 2002 games in SLC.. Did you miss the part where others were telling you that this was business as usual for the times? To be fair, let's go back since the Olympics started in the modern day and audit all the "bribes" and "scandals".. As someone mentioned, this just wasn't a SLC thing, it was the IOC as well with their hands dirty..
Another thing, I completely disagree with you on turning down the Olympics is less worse than a "scandal".. Telling the IOC that you are rejecting an offer they gave to you vs. a city that is trying everything possible to get and keep the games or in your words a "scandal" is far less worse.
That is water under the bridge and different times at this point and I personally think Denver would be a great site.
If you are going to paint the SLC situation as the act of the devil, let's be fair and include everyone guilty of the same thing..
