Hold it right there.

That's an awesome proposal, and very much needed for Canada's 9th largest city, a city of 600,000 wihout a skyline to show. But it sees that its architectural style is too drastic from the concrete surroundings and does not scream "Brampton" for me, imho.

Mississauga should hit the "panic" button because it seems apparent that Brampton's will end up being taller, though sticking out as a sore thumb and not complementing Bramalea's skyline at all.

But honestly, I like this for Brampton. Hopefully they can pull it off.

Yellowknife as of these days seems to be stagnating in population and NWT is in decline.
Whitehorse seems to be the new in due to heavy immigration. 28,000 people in 2013 up from 23,000 in Census 2011? It has a very solid chance of passing Juneau and Fairbanks (its city proper at least) by the next decade.

The Maze - Matas Group (Agnes Street corner Cook Street, near Hurontario and Dundas)

It seems that another proposal has popped up within the same neighbourhood. More simplistic, but taller. Hopefully they stick to this design. It's mch needed considering that Cooksville is Mississauga's ghetto area.

So they make it taller and call it "Higher living"?

I'll take the first design. The second design would be nice for downtown, but out in a boring suburban area, simpler is not better. Areas like that need the visual texture.

These are two separate towers in two separate addresses. The first one is west of Hurontario, the other is east of Hurontario. But both are in the general area of Cooksville.

Yeah... it is in a very bad place to put it in... But it seems that revitalization and densification of the area is coming sooner than later. I'm actually surprised that a 42-storey Mariott Hotel is actually proposed in this area.

At the request of the rendering artist, I've removed the images of 16 York. Apparently the deal didn't go through.

Meaning the deal with SunLife didn't go through. The design was exactly the same as the earlier renderings that were released.

New Renderings Have been Released of Dundas Square Gardens.

Skyline appears on the the wrong side, and there is a parking lot, not a park out front like depicted in the rending. Still a cool looking tower, not bad for one of the most ghetto intersections in the city.

good god that is an inaccurate render.. they replace a 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 🞵🞵🞵🞵 with Yonge Dundas, Cabbagetown with Downtown Toronto, and a parking lot with what appears to be wilderness.
