A lot will happen in the next 18 months WRT airline schedules, so its best to keep options open. Based on the summer 14 schedule, BA looks like a good option, especially if you can redeem points. Peruse the BA forum on Flyertalk to get the latest information on BA Exec Club, award charts are being devalued all over the place. BA is ready for another devaluation anytime soon.
One thing to consider about BA, YYC ops are from T5 but the DUB ops are from T1. I've done LHR connections twice before, both painful experiences. Determined to never to multi terminal LHR connection again. But if you like long walks through desolate corridors followed by Bus rides with no views, followed by another long walk with stairs leading to long lineup, followed by Customs and finally brutal security treatment, T5 to T1 might be for you.
If you cant make BA points work, consider AC onto AC Rouge YYC-YYZ-DUB.
