Bummer. Always a shame to lose quality warehouse buildings. Went to some great parties in there over the years too. Oh well, at least we're also getting rid of a long-standing parking lot.
That's awesome news for Edmonton! Will be good once 4 Canadian metros have finally broken the 200 meter mark.

There are also a hand full in Ottawa that are approved, or about to be approved, that will be taller than anything currently in the area (2 at Dow Honda, Icon, etc).
I don't think they're referring to River Landing at all in that thing. They probably didn't even know about it. They said, "City Centre Tower will be at least 27 storeys and close to 90 metres high,"... yes, that would make it the current new tallest, but River Landing is to be 95 meters tall, so it would still likely be the tallest. They should have just went to 100 meters, darn!

I phrased it that way because it seems likely that they'll be in the ground and finished construction before RL and hence "a new tallest".
And I believe the height limit for downtown Saskatoon is 95m as most of the south downtown is within an approach cone for YXE, but I could be mistaken
