I agree. It's beautiful. Especially in Hamilton where space constraints are not nearly as big a problem.

Just to add the congregation to the Church fell over time and therefore the Church wasn't able to finance the maintenance of the building. They would jack up the furnace on Sunday and for the rest of the week turn the furnace off and that led to many thaw cycles, causing the foundation to become a serious issue.

Eventually the Church put the for sale sign up and a developer bought the property.

I really support converting unused churches into other uses. It's such a gorgeous form of architecture, probably our finest, and I want it to be associated with other things as well.

Those would be really weirdly shaped condos in all probability, and after Stinson's failure to do something similar they probably want to go for a safer design plant.

A couple new midrise infill projects in Toronto. Both of these are replacing vacant lots.

DUKE - 7 stories in the Junction

Musée Condos - 17 stories at Bathurst & Adelaide

The two buildings directly behind the lot have been torn down and are part of the development.
