With the completion of a billion dollar expansion, Edmonton International Airport (EIA) is poised to add more routes, more retail attractions, more real estate development - and most importantly – more passenger traffic. As an entrepreneurial business builder, you will add to the strategic vision and energetic leadership to drive this. You’ll become a high profile corporate and community leader in Canada’s fastest growing major city. EIA serves over 6.5 million passengers a year flying to more than 50 destinations. You’ll increase both of those numbers dramatically with your sights set on 10 million passengers accessing many new routes by 2020. Working with an independent Board and your executive management team, you’ll inspire an ambitious strategic growth plan that will dramatically boost the corporation’s $170 million in annual revenues. In addition to significantly increasing passenger volumes, you will create more compelling retail experiences. You’ll take advantage of the corporation’s land holdings through property development and will ensure that your 250 full-time employees have the training and customer focus they need to meet customer and client expectations. In addition to being a creative visionary, you are a business builder with strong orientation towards execution, team building, and building a high performance culture. You will add your airport, customer-focused or retail industry expertise to lead an organization that has the infrastructure in place to expand its offerings and further raise its profile. You will be a charismatic champion for the Edmonton Capital Region and its world class airports, including the region’s official secondary airport at Villeneuve.
