Sax in Old Montreal. I like that they keep the old facades, but I'm worried about the top, which looks like a lot of confusing spandrel. Yuk.

The website for YUL on Rene-levesque now puts the project at 40 floors for each tower. This is the latest render.

http://www.destinationyul.com/fr

The sales office (a big-🞵🞵🞵 sales office complete with a mural pained by 4 international artists) is almost complete.

Thank goodness. That area is a freaking wasteland. I went to the Cage aux sports right in front a few weeks ago and I almost barfed from looking at all those horrendous parking lots.

New proposal (60 000 s.f.) for a multiservice building situated in Quebec's High Tech park. Several high technology companies are situated in this area and this building would provide food services, health center, thinking rooms, meeting rooms and professional development services offered by universities and colleges.

MAJOR preliminary proposal announced for the Sears lands of Metrotown (on the site of about 40% of the mall's surface parking). The proposal calls for UP TO 5 residential towers along with 2 office towers right along Kingway, with the potential to transform a length equivalent to 2 city blocks of the south side of Kingsway.

Here are several articles related to the proposal!

This project keeps getting better and better. The fact that Halifax's tallest tower is getting an updated look is very exciting. This project could very well help set the bar for future buildings as to what will be acceptable, no more mediocrity.

Well done Halifax!

Construction of the Tour des Canadiens is starting, which means that they have to move the Place du Centenaire to the other side of the Bell Center. Here's the renders of the future place.

Wow that rocks! Go Halifax and Fort Erie!

Holy 🞵🞵🞵🞵, I have been waiting for a real render(not just a low-quality drawing) of the Fenwick Redevelopment for 2 years! That looks remarkably better than what it was proposed as before, and catagorically better than it currently is. Bravo!
