So I guess the call I made about this thing being all curtain wall about six months ago was right

Strill think there's too many mullions. Or they should have coded them, rather than going with the brushed ones

I am sure the Illuminadas are two of the better looking condo towers in the neighbourhood, but the perspective is just so different when placed beside one that is a thousand times better looking.

Bones are meant to be covered if you want it to live long.

You guys should get some signage. Either vinyl stickers on the window, or something about the door a little more formal ($$$).

About DECL's new digs - isn't that at the bottom of the parkade just south of the CWB tower, only now it's painted up?

Not sure what to think of the colour choice right now, but at least it's better than that greyish tone before.

Sorry if that's been posted before, but I have also come across this article from Metro News (free - unlike Paywall-infested EJ), which shows the interior layout of DECL's new place: http://metronews.ca/news/edmonton/483178/downtown-edmonton-community-league-to-open-new-space/

I've even gone as far to show coldrsx the neat feature of flickr that you just copy and paste, and voila, all you need... but you can't teach old dogs new tricks I suppose.

Condo sales on rise in Edmonton area

Edmonton Journal

Wednesday, June 05, 2013

Entry-level buyers may have boosted sales of Edmonton-region condos in May because affordable single-detached houses are in short supply, says the head of the Realtors Association of Edmonton.

Condo sales were up 4.9 per cent compared with May 2012, according to MLS statistics released Tuesday by the group. By comparison, total housing sales dropped 10 per cent year-over-year. Sales of single-detached homes fell 14.4 per cent and duplex and row house sales were down 20.3 per cent compared to May 2012.

At the end of May, there were 6,028 residential properties listed for sale, up from 5,294 the previous month.

The all-residential average selling price was up 2.4 per cent from April and 1.3 per cent higher than a year ago at $356,807.

240glt mentioned yesterday on C2E that Procura is trying to offload Century Park either as one property, or in a piecemeal fashion. Not freaking surprised at all.
