Parents are in Yangon, Mayanmar.. temp 38C. Got an e-card from friends at their condo in PV.. 29C. My good friend in Vernon who works for VQA had her first patio wine tasting at her house overlooking Okanagan Lake the other day. Sister in Van says there is a lovely, sunny weekend coming up. Fuck it.. I am outa here. Got a rate at the Wall Centre... Time to get out of the snow for a few days!

Looking at that photo, knowing my sister is on one of the sun flights and a cousin is on another makes me feel.....less than happy. And yes I've been to the coast twice this winter, but every flight I have been on other than those two have been north. Time to suck it up and find some snowless locations for a few days. I am driving out to the coast in 2 weeks though to pick up a new bike and maybe get some riding in. But f…it I need some green for a few days. But the thought of fighting through the mass of stinking slobbering slothlike all-inclusive cholesterol laden vacationers makes my skin inch. I can hold on I can hold on. ……

CBC Edmonton's Race to EIA

Quote:
The Edmonton International Airport is 30 kilometres from the downtown core. So if you have to catch a flight what's the best way to get there? We sent a crew of six CBC journalists to find out. See for yourself which is the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to get to the EIA.

Grew up around 153rd ave and 66 st, and i was definately a trek getting to the airport. Especially strange back then because one of the last buildings you would see was that apartment with the blue roof on calgary trail...after that was fields and darkness, lol. Lit freeway makes a huge difference. It is crazy the amount of development in south edmonton/nisku/leduc.

Sun country 737-800 inbound from MSP arriving at 1300.

Wonder what it's doing? Doesn't seem to be a hockey charter as the wild are not playing?

Routing is MSP-YEG-YYC-IND.

Had a chance to fly out of Signature flight support facility today, i will love flying out the next few months. The place is palatial. GOA are building their flight centre on the south end of the Aurora building.

Still do not know where the GoC or RCMP are building.

Good catch. KLM made an error also. The banners should have said Leduc.

Best part is, on many days, when you go to the KLM website, the best connections and fares are through MSP.

Noticed that first air is flying a ATR-42 on its YEG-YZF flight this morning. It appears to be a equipment sub?
