It was excellent, thank you. Funny thing that i found though, they had so many 1,000 + ft buildings i felt like they lost their uniqueness. The Burj Khalifa is truly amazing and almost impractical in its towering height. My favorite area was the Marina area with its cluster of 5 or 6 thousand footers densely packed into about 4 square blocks. The nice thing about the area was its street life around the river area. Tons of restaurants at the base on some of the most awe inspiring supertall views on the planet.
The infrastructure and construction there is truly amazing but highly unrealistic to relate to Canada when you consider the amount of cheap, slave like labour that makes all of it possible. Most amazing was that all of modern Dubai is under 10 years old.
