I'm still not sure what I think of it. It has good height, but the design doesn't really do anything for me.

Why sorry? Office buildings usually look better than residential.

Tower 3 is actually quoted as being around 175 meters tall.

A proposal for Gatineau by the Heafey Group . 3 towers, 30, 27, 24 storeys...including a central library, grocery store (really needed for this part of town), daycare, restaurants.. hooray.

^The quality of the architecture notwithstanding, that is a great news! It sure will add depth to Gatineau's skyline, which may very well be on its way to become Quebec's #2 skyline in a decade or so...

I was never really a fan of that part of Gatineau, so it is definitely a major improvement.

Mount Stephen Club Hotel - 11 floors
This design dates from this month.

Quote:
Development of Mount Stephen Club and Hotel Complex

The project consists of the renovation and extension of the Mount Stephen Club on de la Montagne Street in downtown Montreal. The extension consists of the construction of an 11 storey luxury hotel in behind the Mount Stephen in order to lodge approximately 80 rooms. With new attributes such as a modern kitchen, an underground parking lot of 96 spaces and diverse amenities such as a spa and a fitness centre, the Mount Stephen Club will continue to greet members of the Montreal business community, and so, for generations.
