I wouldn't say it's a crappy project, just less than we were expecting. All in all, I don't mind it (except, perhaps, the colours and the reduced height bombshell). However, if you're lamenting that a prominant corner like that deserves better then I would agree.
And yet, those of us who can remember the deserted, frightening, and depressing DMZ that downtown Edmonton was pre-circa-1996 should be able to find more to be positive about regarding the progress the city has made over the last decade or so.
