Anyone know who's building these townhomes? They are just north of Stony Plain Rd and 143 Street. They are almost framed up.

I think they mean, that's not a photograph. It's a rendering. You know, so no one is confused between what's CG and what's real.

Is this the whiskey bar that's opening in the Jaffer building? If so, I'm glad this is on the prominent side of the building.

So? Experience is much more than what job(s) you have held, you should recognize that.

Your loss.

Left to the market.

Only restrictions I would keep or put in are having the main floor be either transparent or lined with outward (or dual) facing retail bays. You don't want to just create suburbs in the sky. Economics and the airport overlay should deal with the rest.
Take a look at the UW zone and let me know your thoughts. Laissez-fair zoning is a slippery slope, especially in this market.

Airport overlay going the way of the DC-9

What experience does he have? That's exactly my point. He has no clue how the average citizen functions in a city... He brings no outside experience... all just theory. Theory only works in school.

He brings a different perspective, a welcomed one in my opinion... even if I disagree with him at times. I really do encourage you to have a pint and chat with him.

Iveson is Fine in that setting. But when it comes down to Brass Tax...no pun intended. IMO he does not have what it takes to actually lead Edmonton to the next level.

...Please... This is getting ridiculous.

Why don't we get back to talking about development?

Sounds like Mayfair North will be going late spring/early summer. Reduced height and one longer curving building. All rental. Main floor largely unchanged.

Expect 'Central' at CP to start around the same time. Rental as well.

Finally...any idea if the design is the same as we saw a year or so ago? Height?
