Actually, I think it would be closer to 6000-7000 fewer seats. 53,000-54,000. Thats not too bad

Rumours are that the Bow's second tower is soon to go ahead...Seems like the urban life a lot of people on this forum crave is a reality 300 km's south.

Calgary is doing a great job at filling in their DT, but I am not sure 'the urban' life I crave is much more there than here. If I wanted that I would look 1200 km west or 3300 km east.

Yup people are getting fatter lol.

Imo, as our population grows, our capacity in any old or new sporting venue or entertainment venue has to reflect that. I like the wider seats but at the same time reducing the capacity seems like a step backwards.

In our climate a domed stadium would be the preference and truly take our city to the next level but I doubt if I will see that in my lifetime.

Is it technically possible to dome Commonwealth at all?

The original plan was to dome commonwealth -- don't know how possible it would be to do now though.

My experience is people who say they want Commonwealth domed are those who never go.....and despite what they say, I highly doubt they would start going regularly if it was domed.

I do like the green seats.....that might be cool.

Im wondering, and hoping, that they replace the cheap bench seats in the corners and north endzone. Because it would really look stupid with green and orange seats.

They are replacing them as well, but they will still be bench seats if I recall. The plan is for all of the seats to be replaced over 3 years (to be complete before the FIFA Women's World Cup).

Retractable of course so all the people who want to be outside when its -10 can have the roof open

I am looking at not only football but concerts, trade shows, conventions etc.

People are too focused on one use all the time.
