Gene Dub presenting a condo proposal to Rossdale CL tonight, 6pm. Flanking condos on the lots next to the baseball field.

The initial rendering I saw was encouraging, but I believe they have changed it up since.

Reminded me of this a little bit

Can't wait to hear/see more on this. The question will be, what kind of NIMBYism will be voiced over this? You'd think that any development there would be welcomed... unless you, as a resident, like the exclusivity of a small single family neighbourhood steps from downtown, even if it means with a ton of vacant lots.

My bet is a lot of backlash, but hopefully not as it would fill in those former house lots and potentially get us a food/bevy place down there.

It DOES look like that one in a lot of ways. (minus the podium, that podium is ughhh). I like the intial renderings more than what I see now. They went too warehouse with modern on top. I liked the windows when they were more of a 'random pattern' coming down in the front than it looks now.

I'll tell them that next week.

Main floor commercial, 2nd-3rd floor loft space.

Hope not as well, we've been staying at the condo while the bathroom at the house is ripped apart, and have been walking the dogs down there. It's sad to see all those empty lots sitting there, reminds me a lot of the old lots adjacent to Northlands by my place that used to have houses on them but are now sitting empty. Such a waste of good infill opportunity.

Gene dub presented townhouse and condo plans for the area adjacent to the rossdale baseball diamond. He also has interest in doing a "curved" condo on that triangle lot on Bellamy hill and 99th.
