I've always wondered one thing though, if it would have been dangerous to have a deck on the north tower because of radio waves, the south tower deck was within a couple hundred feet so it really couldn't have been much less dangerous there.
Ehh. I think only ONE tower should have a deck like the old days. But three differnt decks would be too much. Normal non skyscraper knowing people only want to go on top of one observatory and not come down and have to go up to a different one. We all know tower one is going to have a — view. Tower 3 is a bit better but not the best. Therefore in conclusion the engineers somehow should find a way to stick some sort of platform on tower 2 as it'll have the best view of any tower just like the old one did (that includes Bk Bridge {Beekman} Statue of Liberty, Lower Manhattan and Midtown {forget jersey}). off topic I know but on a different note....

this is the first comment I'm writing in four days that doesn't require the on screen key board as my keyboard got broken.

I would think that the series of stepped-back terraces atop 2 WTC could be a great spot for an outdoor obs. deck, except that they face New Jersey instead of the bridges...

We can't always get what we want, but dammit THIS building THESE buildings THIS complex should have been something that we all wanted and liked in some way shape or form. This should have been a place of the people by and from the people who did all this.

It's not particularly surprising given the cultural attachment to the site. But there is an appropriate place for everything and anything deeply political or excessive complaints about what is has or doesn't have is for another forum. This thread is about the development and construction of the tower.

Now lets ogle at some glass.

Read me

The next person who brings up rebuilding the old WTC, the 9/11 attacks being an inside job, or being disruptive in this thread, will get a suspension. No more warnings.

Everyone's been warned fairly and we all know what happens when this thread goes off topic. So there's no reason it should happen again.

As for not trolling, that goes for everyone. If someone here is causing trouble, report their post. Don't reply to them and encourage more disruptive posts that derail the thread.

What about the blast walls? Nothing looks any different to me than it's looked for about three months? In fact, if they don't take those forms off soon that have been there for months, I'm gonna develop a twitch! lol

There poring more concrete on,Filling the base out. Maybe its not noticeable at first but once you look at an older picture it strikes out. I passed by the site today and I was impressed at how far along the base (the blast walls in particular) have come.

Maybe on the north sides where I can't see? Trust me, those walls have looked virtually the same for months. I've had my eye on them every time I look at earthcam and pictures, which is pretty much daily (sad I know)
