This is an awesome video. Im two weeks late, but wow.

The video says part of the memorial will be open for this years anniversary. Based on the pictures, I think they mean the stone engravings and maybe 2 trees.

Anyone know when the water will start flowing? Will they wait until 2011 for that?

^ What's amazing about that shot (other than the fact that the photographer's saturation knob goes to 11) is the balconies on the building on the left. Who does one have to blow, er, know, to get up there to take some pictures?

I like the colors in the picture, the view of the Hudson and Jersey City on the background

Part of the memorial was open last year, particularly for family members. You can find more info on the memorial in its related thread.

As huge as this Tower appears in pictures, you can never get a sense of it's colossal size until you see in person. I went down there on Wednesday and I was impressed with how tall it was getting. I also went to visit the Empire State Building and got to check out the 102nd Floor and Tower 1 is pretty visible from there now as well. Tower 4 is starting to pick up the pace again too so this site is really coming along thank goodness. It's amazing though because the way the site looks today you would never think the Twin Towers used to stand there. I unfortunately will never forget the great impact those Twin Towers had and they shall always be remembered. The last time I stood on top of the Twin Towers was in August, 1998. I look forward to the Observation Deck that Tower 1 will have in the future when it is complete.
